MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Technology Scouting & Technical know-how:
- Investigation in new solutions and innovative technologies on analog and digital electronics (e.g. MCUs, MEMS, etc.)
Technology Requirements Analysis:
- Definition of the electrical features of electrical circuits and sizing of hardware components based on the performance required by customers
Hardware Development:
- Design and review of hardware electronics and validation cycles before industrializatioN
- Design of electronic prototypes for quick proof-of-concepts and internal test tools
- Design test simulations and lead test bench development to validate electronics system performance and functionality
- Guarantee Test Analysis and Reporting
Hardware Validation:
- Perform root-cause analysis of hardware failures and edge-case behaviors in industrial environments
- Develop automated test benches using scripting languages to streamline repetitive validation sequences
- Validate signal integrity, power delivery, and thermal performance of new hardware iterations
- Support compliance testing for EMC/EMI and industrial safety standards
Technical Documentation:
- Create and update the technical documentation associated with new project or changes of existing products, to cover all elements of the project life cycle (project requirements, preliminary and final design and release, prototyping update of product documentation) in compliance with global quality standards
REQUIREMENTS
- Background in Electronics Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics or Robotics
- Proficiency in using lab equipment for debugging and verification (Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Logic Analyzers)
- Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design and industrial sensor interfaces
- Experience in scripting and coding (Python or C) for hardware control and test automation
- Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and layout files
- Problem-solving skills applied to hardware-software integration
Bonus Points:
- Experience with PCB design tools like KiCAD or Altium Designer
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, CAN bus) as well as IoT protocols
- Familiarity with Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) and reliability testing methodologies
- Experience with version control (Git) for managing source code, test scripts and documentatio
