Finance & Controlling Application Specialist

Mission

Supports the implementation and the execution of new projects of Finance & Controlling processes managed in SAP. Deals with business partners, supporting them to collect and prioritize business needs and translate business requirements to IT requirements in Finance and Controlling domains. Participates in solution design, evaluating coherence between original business requirements and deliverables, performing the most appropriate trade-off analysis between requirements coverage and implementation effort, ensuring the appropriate documentation of business processes and the related IT solution

Main Responsibilities

Change Management

  • Gather business requirements and evaluate the most appropriate solution in manufacturing environment
  • Develop solid relations with internal FiCo customers and involve them in validating solutions
  • Ensure Change phases (build, test, deploy) are managed along the process according to defined internal procedures and practices
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure Team in order to ensure consistency of the identified solutions across the whole IT landscape

Project Management and execution

  • Make sure that project deliverables are issued within expected levels of quality and on-time
  • Anticipate criticalities and alert relevant interlocutors to avoid delays or misalignments in deliverables
  • Collect business needs from Key users
  • Analyze requirements, formalize and share the proposed solution with the Key users
  • Implement and Test the procedure in SAP, and design business blueprint, functional specifications, user guidelines
  • Perform the training to key users, organize testing activities and provide active support for Go-Live phases

Demand Management

  • Translate Business needs in functional requirements and identify the best solution with a cost vs benefits approach
  • Ensure that the identified resources are put in place to guarantee the fulfilment of the Business Demand
  • Escalate issues to team/project leaders members whenever it is required by business context or in case of critical topics that require supervision

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for improving FiCo processes efficiency and application support response quality
  • Proactively suggest solutions aimed at improving Company processes, in line with Business needs
