Indirect Purchasing Manager
MISSION
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, guiding and executing the purchasing strategy across multiple categories of indirect spending. You will ensure optimal agreements with mitigated risk by collaborating, providing advice and guiding feasible and efficient procurement and purchasing processes.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Indirect Purchasing Strategy
- Develops and implements strategies for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, service delivery improvements, and process efficiencies.
- Defines negotiation strategies and closes deals with the aim of reaching optimal terms.
Indirect Purchasing needs definition and Management
- Contribute, in collaboration with business unit representatives, to defining indirect purchasing needs by proposing alternative solutions for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Translate business priorities into qualitative and quantitative purchasing targets.
- Launch and oversee calls for tenders.
- Prioritize projects based on potential savings (cost, added value, etc.) and their feasibility in the short, medium and long term.
- Manage the issuance of Purchase Orders and ensure the timely delivery of materials and services.
- Provide support to other company functions in the procurement of indirect materials and services, including planning, expenditure analysis, pricing, assistance and contract negotiations.
- Supervise the negotiation of complex contracts.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: actively participate in defining the annual budget, ensuring alignment between purchasing plans and financial objectives.
Processes and Procedure
- Contribute to the implementation and improvement of procedures related to the purchasing of indirect materials and services, in order to achieve long-term savings and enhance procurement processes, in collaboration with the Purchasing Processes and Systems Specialist.
- Export and standardize these processes across all Bonfiglioli plants worldwide and monitor results through standard KPIs.
