Mission

Support Business Unit in making decisions aimed at maximizing the value created for the company, ensuring controlling activities through a structured set of homogeneous models and approaches. Guarantee the production of detailed and timely reporting on relevant KPIs. Act as a challenging and reliable partner in the implementation of strategies.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting and business performance analysis:

  • To support Business Unit Controller in analyzing monthly figures with specific focus on Sales volumes, price and margin
  • To analyze the performances of Sales Companies (P&L, BS and cash flow), collecting comments from local controllers,  to deeply and timely understand and explain their contribution to the Global Business Unit figures
  • Summarizing monthly deviation analysis, as variable and fixed Sales costs compared to budget and previous period to address corrective actions
  • Profitability analysis to support a sustainable growth (focus on Added Value and Consolidated Margin)
  • Full-year Budget and periodic forecasting activities in collaboration with the local Management, local and Group Controlling

 

Sales Performances and pricing monitoring:

  • Supporting management on analyzing sales figures, through all relevant dimensions (Sales channel, Customer, Country, Sector, Product Family) and credit collection
  • Analyzing impact coming from price and discount conditions and support management on evaluating market opportunities

 

Transfer Price Management:

  • To check and update Transfer Prices condition by product codes, in order to stay aligned with Group Policy and to support the business needs

 

Compliance with Group regulations and guidelines:

  • To support Global BU Controller in leading locally the implementation of Group guidelines

 

Business partnering:

  • Supporting Management as a strong business partner in driving decision
  • Proactive and steady collaboration with HQ Controlling, as member of team
