Supply Chain Process Optimization

Mission

Definition, improvement and supervision of all logistics flow in the following areas: Inbound-Warehousing-Handling-Picking-Shipment-Transport. 
 

Main Responsibilities

INDUSTRIAL LOGISTIC

  • Improve WMS-SCE and ERP systems cooperating with planning and production areas
  • Continuously improve working capital and market analysis 
  • Check the traceability of products
  • Check and analyze the plant warehouse saturation
  • Ensure cooperation with all functions involved in the logistic flow

 

TRANSPORTATION

  • Monitoring of Export/Import costs to maintain the overall import cost approach
  • Definition of supply agreement with forwarding companies in terms of service level agreement and costs
  • In conjunction with Strategic Purchasing and BU Purchasing, create frame agreements at global level for transportation of goods
  • Following a proactive approach to constantly improving the process

 

CUSTOMS MANAGEMENT AND DOCUMENTS TRANSPORTATION

  • Handle of Import/export control issues to ensure the correct documentation to the import/export material process
  • Keeping relevant master data updated and supervising the proper collection of documentation from suppliers
  • Organize workshops and training to raise the awareness of export control issues in Business Unit
  • Support branch offices and foreign plants to develop and properly manage transports and customs documentation and issue
  • Handle in collaboration with R&D and Product Marketing the process of Customs Headings defined in Customs Headings Management Procedure
  • Manage the proper identification of goods technology, which have a potential "dual use" nature

 

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

  • Recognize risks and suggest improvement plans
  • Manage the implementation of planned changes to working practices or systems, to ensure a smooth transition period and a positive final result 
  • Define cost deployment priorities
  • Develop and continually improve working processes, taking ownership of these, to make sure working practices are effective and performance is improved
