We are looking for a Supply Chain Process Optimization Specialist to join our Team based in Calderara di Reno (BO).
MISSION
Ensures the management, optimization, and continuous improvement of Supply Chain processes, guaranteeing alignment with best practices in planning, performance management, risk mitigation, and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. Supports all functions involved in Supply Chain processes to ensure accurate data, consistent parameters, and a data-driven approach to operational decision-making.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Performance & Risk Management
- Defines, monitors, and regularly updates Supply Chain KPIs to measure operational efficiency across the entire flow.
- Collects and analyzes performance data related to service levels, inventory, supplier punctuality, and lead times.
- Identifies operational risks related to demand, supply, and internal processes, maps potential risks, and proposes mitigation plans.
- Collaborates with the functions involved to update the risk map and define corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinates and supports internal and external audits of SC processes, prepares supporting documentation, and manages non-conformities.
- Prepares and periodically communicates performance reports to the relevant functions (e.g., Planning, Procurement, Operations, Finance).
Operational Parameters Maintenance
- Manages the configuration of key operational parameters (e.g., lead times, stock buffers, reorder levels, safety stock).
- Defines and applies product segmentation and classification logics (e.g., ABC/XYZ analysis) to optimize inventory policies and Supply Chain flows.
- Updates and verifies the consistency and accuracy of master data (item master records, bills of materials, supplier price lists) to ensure alignment between the ERP and planning systems.
- Collaborates with IT and Planning functions to ensure that parameters are correctly entered into information systems.
- Implements regular checks to validate data quality and defines improvement plans to resolve any anomalies.
- Supports internal training to promote best practices in data and parameter management.
Continuous Improvement
- Analyzes end-to-end Supply Chain flows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and resource waste.
- Uses analytical tools, BI tools, and dashboards to identify trends, deviations, and potential areas for improvement.
- Develops proposals for continuous improvement initiatives based on Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Coordinates improvement projects by defining work plans, objectives, deliverables, and monitoring progress.
- Promotes the adoption of innovative digital solutions to optimize the management of information and operational flows.
- Evaluates new technologies and Supply Chain automation tools and assesses their applicability to existing processes.
- Shares results, lessons learned, and best practices with the functions involved to foster cross-functional improvement.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Fluent in English language, both written and spoken
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with SAP is considered an advantage.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
The annual compensation for this position is €35,000 - €40,000, with additional benefits.
This compensation range has been determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including the scope of the role, required skills, relevant professional experience, qualifications, and level of responsibility.
