MISSION
The Production & Material Planner plans the supply of materials according to the production schedule to ensure production continuity and meet customer requirements. Maintains appropriate inventory levels and, within the Planning and Procurement Area, is responsible for confirming customer orders and reordering materials for specific product types. The role includes overdue management, preparation of MRP proposals, issuing reminders to plants, and analysis of missing or critical items.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
- Maintain the schedule by responding to alerts and working to balance demand and supply
- Continuously improve planning and scheduling processes through use of lean practices
- Lead materials improvement that relate to on time delivery
- Optimize material planning in MRP system
- Identify critical material deliveries and ensure program requirements are prioritized through the supply chain
- Work with critical suppliers (Bonfiglioli plants) to find solution how to cover material demand
- Review excess and shortage of material sources with purchasing
- Cooperate by revision of MPS
- Cooperate by planning of mid-term and long-term supplies
- Recognize risks in supply of materials and possible negative impacts on production schedule, take action or escalate to direct supervisor
- Cooperate by definition of MRP policy
- Update of MRP parameters relative to safety stocks, lead time, MOQ, rounding value with the main objective to reach defined stock values
- Management of communication with suppliers and the purchasing/SCM HQ department regarding critical issues or improvement plans
- SCM KPI report
REQUIREMENTS
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar role
- Technical diploma as an Electromechanical Technician or, alternatively, Industrial Technician
- Knowledge of logistics and production processes
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, with strong knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge and use of SAP or other ERP systems
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Priority management skills
- Knowledge of English language (B2 level)
