We are seeking a Key Account Specialist to join our team in Castel Maggiore (BO) within our Electronics Business Unit, Selcom.
MISSION
The Key Account Specialist will manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts and support new business development activities, acting as the primary commercial point of contact between Selcom and its clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional with a technical background looking to grow within a structured international in electronics environment.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
- Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Support price negotiations, quotations, and contract renewals in coordination with the Sales Director
- Monitor order intake, forecasts, and account profitability
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to ensure customer requirements are met
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts
- Support the identification and qualification of new prospects, particularly in Medical, Railway, and Industrial Automation sectors
- Prepare commercial reports, account plans, and presentations
- Represent Selcom at customer meetings and industry trade shows
REQUIREMENTS
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Management Engineering, or a related field
- English proficiency at least at B1 level
- Willingness to travel across Italy and occasionally within Europe
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
The annual compensation range for this position is € 38,000 - € 42,000, with additional benefits.
This compensation range has been determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including the scope of the role, required skills, relevant professional experience, qualifications, and level of responsibility.
