We are looking for a Program Management Engineer – CAE & PMO Office to join our team based in Castel Maggiore (BO).


 

MISSION

The candidate will join the CAE & PMO department with a primary focus on supporting program and project management activities across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring structured execution from opportunity phase to delivery. 

The role will involve planning, coordination, governance, and performance monitoring of projects, working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 

The candidate will progressively take ownership of project/program coordination, contributing to timelines, risk management, and delivery performance, in a structured growth path toward a Program Manager role. 

 

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

Project & Program Management (main focus):

  • Support the definition and maintenance of project and program plans (timelines, milestones, deliverables) 

  • Coordinate multiple projects in parallel, ensuring alignment with priorities and available resources 

  • Monitor project execution vs. plan (timing, scope, deliverables) 

  • Track KPIs, milestones, and critical paths, highlighting deviations 

  • Identify, assess, and track risks and issues, supporting mitigation actions 

  • Prepare project status reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders 

  • Support governance routines (project reviews, gate meetings, escalation flows) 

  • Ensure consistency and alignment across projects within the program 

 

Cross-functional Leadership & Coordination:

  • Act as a central coordination point between R&D, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Sales 

  • Facilitate decision-making processes by structuring inputs and organizing technical/operational data 

  • Ensure clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders 

  • Support conflict resolution and prioritization across functions 

  • Promote a structured, process-driven project approach 

Project Lifecycle & Delivery Support:

  • Support the transition from RFQ / opportunity phase to project execution 

  • Ensure traceability between customer requirements, quotation assumptions, and project deliverables 

  • Contribute to scope definition and change management processes 

  • Support the management of project documentation and configuration baseline 

 

Opportunity & RFQ Contribution (supporting role):

  • Contribute to early-stage feasibility and effort evaluations 

  • Support the collection of technical inputs for quotations 

  • Ensure alignment between quotation assumptions and execution constraints 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronic, or Management Engineering) or equivalent 
  • Strong interest in project/program management and structured execution environments 
  • Good knowledge of Office tools (especially Excel) 
  • Familiarity with project planning tools (Gantt, MS Project or similar) 
  • Ability to understand technical documentation (BOMs, drawings, specifications) 
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Structured, analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Command of the English language (B1–B2 level)
  • Initial experience (1–2 years) in project or program management environments (nice to have)

 

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

The annual compensation range for this position is €35,000 - €42,000, with additional benefits.

This compensation range has been determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including the scope of the role, required skills, relevant professional experience, qualifications, and level of responsibility.
