Project & RFQ Support Engineer

MISSION

 

Main focus: technical pre-sales activities and RFQs management.
The role involves supporting customer requirement analysis, internal coordination, and preparing RFQs, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
In parallel, the employee will support the team in Project Management activities, following a progressive development path toward the role.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITY

RFQ Management and Technical Quotations 

  • Analyze customer requests (RFQs) and technical documentation.
  • Collect and clarify technical requirements with customers (with support).
  • Coordinate with internal departments (R&D, Purchasing, Production) to define technical solutions.
  • Support the preparation of technical and commercial offers.
  • Ensure technical alignment with customer specifications.
  • Manage and update quotation documentation.

Technical Pre-Sales Support

  • Support the Sales team in the technical evaluation of opportunities.
  • Participate in technical meetings with customers and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing department to identify components and solutions.

Project Management Support

  • Assist in planning and monitoring project activities.
  • Update documentation and project plans.
  • Collect progress updates and support reporting activities.
  • Participate in project meetings and operational coordination.

 

 HARD SKILLS

  • Interest in technical-commercial activities and quotation management.
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite (especially Excel).
  • Ability to read and analyze technical documentation (BOMs, drawings, specifications).
  • Basic CAD knowledge (preferred).
  • Technical knowledge of electronics (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with advanced project management methodologies and tools (nice to have)
  • Technical understanding of ERP systems
