Motion Control Development

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Research & Development Team.

MISSION

Ensure the integration between Bonfiglioli Solutions (Gearboxes, Inverter, Motion, IoT Products) and the customer’s application, managing the commissioning, performance monitoring and customization of Bonfiglioli’s products.

KEY ACTIVITIES

• Software specifications analysis and development, validation and certification in compliance with internal and external standards;

• Scouting and definition of technologies and resources necessary to guarantee the software development, based on the analysis of the markets;

• Management of Project iteration in order to verify the first application prototype with customers;

• Definition of user cases to test and validate the software;

• Support in testing activities with Solution Project Leader and Customers Software Release;

• Software documentation for production, quality, certifications and product lifecycle management;

• Guarantee the constant software updating based on the feedback received from the customer in order to guarantee customer satisfaction and take charge of requests for improvement;

• Guarantee the software development and software maintenance processe

• Support Inverter, Motion, IoT product development, providing the needed software and IoT contributions

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s Degree in Computer, Automation or Electronic Engineering

• Past experience in similar role ( > 3 years)

• Knowledge of Motion Control and IoT applications

• Good knowledge of C, C++ and Python

• Good knowledge of IEC 61131-3 standard

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Fluent in English
