We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to join our Team based in Castelmaggiore (BO).
Mission: Guarantee the study, design, development and modification/adaption of electrical circuits/PCBAs for electronic Power and Digital Electronic Products to provide technical solutions which fulfill specified customers requirements.
Main responsibilities:
- Investigation in new solutions and innovative technologies on electronics (Iot solutions, sensors,…)
- Definition of the electrical circuits and sizing of hardware components based on the performance required by customers
- Study, design and modification/adaption of electrical circuits/PCBAs for electronic boards to guarantee their functionalities based on the hardware
- Prototype hardware debug and tests
- Design test simulations and lead test bench development to validate electronics system performance and functionality
- Support and integrate the design of the firmware in case of embedded boards
- Guarantee Test Analysis and Reporting
- Realize technical Bill of Material (BOM) indicating what are all the components, sub-assemblies, semi-finished products and raw materials necessary to make a product
- Create and update the Technical documentation associated with new project or changes of existing product
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Electronic or Automation Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in similar roles
- Deep knowledge of HW development tools: CAD for schematics entry and PCB layout Design, Electric Circuit Simulation
- Good knowledge of Firmware Development (C/C++)
- Excellent knowledge of Electromagnetic Compatibility
- Experience in regulatory compliance tests
- Excellent communication skills and problem solving attitude
- Fluent in English
