Supply Chain Manager

Mission

Guarantee effective and efficient management of Supply Chain operations, costs and service levels. Monitoring all the economic factors related to inventory, capacity allocation, leadtimes, procurement and transports. Monitoring the efficiency of sales operations and planning process and ensure the achievement of company goals related to on-time delivery (OTD) and Lead Time (LT).

Main Responsibilities

PLANT STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION

  • Support the Plant manager in the identification and development, for the area of responsibility,  of the short -, medium- and long- term Plant strategic targets
  • Implementation at local level of BU HQ SCM policies and guidelines
  • Translation of expected/planned plant KPIs into logistic indicators/service levels

 

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

  • Implementation of Supply Chain guidelines and policies to be observed by the Plants
  • Accountable for planning and Supply Chain operations, costs and service levels for the Plants
  • Monitoring all the economic factors related to inventory, capacity allocation, leadtimes, procurement and transports 
  • Ensure of the efficiency and effectiveness of master production planning process
  • Ensure of the efficiency and effectiveness of warehouse management managing properly the external supplier and the Stock level
  • Ensure of the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement processes to guarantee the production needs
  • Ensure achievement of goals related to available to promise on-time delivery (OTD) and inventory investment.

 

BUDGETING

  • Elaboration, proposal and control of the Supply Chain budget of costs, revenues and investments as for the Plant
  • Control of operating performances for the area of responsibility, guaranteeing the fulfilment of the budget defined
  • Definition of all the actions required if variances/deviations in the final balance occur

 

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Accountable for the proper functioning of the team
  • Contribute to right sizing of resources, training and development activities
  • Accountable for the Team development and Organizational efficiency
